CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR II
Assignment: Los Angeles World Airports – Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC)
Salary: $70.8K to $108.2K annual base salary depending upon experience
KEY IDENTIFIERS FOR THE POSITION
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software, Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional and large- scale construction management type software such as Primavera, Prolog, Procore, etc.
- Five to seven years of experience in the administration of commercial/government contracts is required
- Experience in a construction office is necessary
- Experience in alternative project delivery methods including Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design Build preferred
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Collaborates with multiple Project Managers and Element Manger regarding disposition of contractual issues
- Preparing Contractual Correspondence
- Assembling Task Orders, Change Orders and Board Reports
- Monitoring insurance compliance
- Ensure proficiency and timeliness of contract administration for change documentation
- Prepare required reports and correspondence
- Review Concurrence Letters for conformance with contractual requirements
- Monitor and expedite aging change documentation for contract compliance
- Attend various meetings, including pre-bid proposal and post-bid proposal debriefings
- Assist in the contract standardization process
- Monitor all aspects of contract compliance
- Assist in resolving problems and disagreements between contractors and LAWA
- Review contractor invoices for contractual compliance
- Conduct closeout actions upon contract completion such as final audit, payment, etc. under the direction of LAWA personnel
- Contribute to the advancement of PDG’s goals through commitment to productive collaboration with all stakeholders
HARDWARE/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE LEVEL/OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Five to seven years of experience in the administration of commercial/government contracts is required
- Experience in alternative project delivery methods including Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design Build preferred
- Comfortable operating in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment
- Produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a customer service attitude
- Experience in a construction office is necessary
- Familiar with construction contract related insurance requirements
- Must be a self-starter attitude with proactive, results-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities
- Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous positions
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software including Office 365 file sharing
- Knowledge in the use of construction industry standard contract documents including RFI’s, Submittals, Non-compliances and Design Bulletins
EDUCATION/TRAINING
BA in Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Construction Management preferred but not mandatory

- May assume other duties as required or needed
- Maybe required to work past normal work shift if needed
- Maybe required to work various shifts as needed
