CONTRACT ADMINISRATOR III
Client / Project: Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) Program Management Office (PMO)
Salary Range: $103.4K to $121.6K annual base salary, depending upon experience
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Management of the purchasing process of all Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) for the Bond Program. This may include solicitation of quotes, review for contract compliance, preparation of purchase orders, facilitating execution of purchase orders, entering purchase orders in the District SAP system, and other related tracking/archiving tasks as required.
- The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Contract Administrator responsible for the purchasing activities on the Bond Program.
- Coordination with the District’s business office as needed.
- Strict adherence to policies, procedures, templates, and applicable laws
- Reporting, tracking, and quality control for assigned procurements processes
- Responsible for multiple concurrent procurement processes
- Provide support to Relocation Project Managers and Technology Project Managers on procurement efforts for all nine colleges, the District, and Program Management Office.
- Provide support to Asset Management with knowledge of combining assets for asset tagging purposes.
- Participate in training FF&E vendors on best practices in doing business with the Program/District.
- Work is currently 50% in the central office and 50% remote however when deemed safe to return, work at the project’s central office will be required on a daily basis
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years of related experience in a public procurement setting
- 3+ years SAP experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to exercise judgment, discretion and critical thinking and to set priorities and manage competing demands.
- Demonstrate a reliable, responsive and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be detail-oriented
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of relevant California Higher Education Codes and relevant Public Contract Code
- Knowledge of relevant California Community College Codes
- Experience with project management software
